The Batiquitos Lagoon Foundation provides a variety of opportunities to understand and experience the wonders of the lagoon.

LAGOON WALKS

  • DOCENT LED WALKS

    Batiquitos Lagoon Foundation Docents offer tours for visitors of the lagoon and for school groups. The focus of recent walks has included such topics as: wetland habitats, birds, Native American heritage and use of the lagoon, insects, geology, sandy beach environment, watershed model, and water quality.

    Join us for a unique opportunity to kayak at Batiquitos Lagoon during this fun community cleanup event!  Help cleanup the lagoon and enjoy kayaking waters normally closed to boating.
