Saturday December 13th at 10:00am – The Amazing Gray Whale Migration
Jane Barger, naturalist at the San Diego Natural History Museum, will discuss the Eastern North Pacific Gray Whale, with information about population, migration route, calving and feeding, physical characteristics, and other interesting facts. Ages 10+
Saturday January 10th at 10:00am – Preserving Ecosystems
Tito Marchant, Director of Conservation and Rewilding at WildCoast, will share the organization’s efforts to protect mangrove forests, gray whale lagoons, pristine islands, coral reefs, coastal wetlands, and open ocean ecosystems in the U.S. and Mexico. Special focus on collaborative efforts with Batiquitos Lagoon to preserve and restore habitat. Ages 15+
